Reliable quality assurance is an integral part of a company like ours.
We are certified to the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 standard.
The components manufactured by FAF are monitored in production round the clock by the team in our measuring room. Once a component has been released for production, it is subjected to random inspection and quality tests in all stages of production. And before it leaves our premises it has to pass a final quality test. The frequency of the tests (dimensional accuracy, optical requirements etc.) is specified in a test plan, and the performance of the tests is verified by a quality auditor.
After sample inspection in production, all new parts are subjected to tests in the measuring room where they check specified requirements and record their findings in a sample inspection report (company-own, customer templates or on basis of VDA-forms). Approved samples and sample inspection reports are passed on to the customer for review and approval. In special cases it is possible to ask certified measurement specialists for assistance.
At request we perform SPC-tests and make IMDS-entries available. Practically all our products fulfil the requirements in EG directive 2002/95/EG (RoHS). After detailed tests we can also issue certificates for your products.
Our measuring room is equipped with a manually operated and a CNC controlled coordinate measuring machine plus a wide range of conventional measuring devices.
